Machu Picchu Team is a fun, well organized, and amazing to accompany that facilitated my four-day Salkantay Trek. The team and our guide, Alexis, went above and beyond to make the challenging journey as easy as possible as well as ensured our accommodations were comfortable. Transport between locations and acquiring Machu Picchu tickets was all facilitated, making the whole experience very low stress. I would highly recommend booking with Machu Picchu Team and specifically using Alexis (Nacho) as your guide. Alexis is a true professional and is exactly the person I wanted leading my trek over Salkantay Pass and to Machu Picchu.

My experience with Machu Picchu team was very good. I did the 4 day Salkantay trek and our guide Alexis (nachito) was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Peru. Everything ran smoothly along the whole trip and I really enjoyed it.

Me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the 4 day Inca Jungle Trail. We learned a lot about Inca history and traditions. We didn’t want to hike the whole way, so this way of doing the trail was perfect for us. We loved the change in activities and I would highly recommend this tour if you also don’t want 4 full days of hiking. Aurelio was an amazing tour guide with a lot of information to share. We had a great time, muchas gracias!

Small side note: I’m vegetarian and they took great care of me. There was more then enough food

I did the 4 day Salkantay trek and it was amazing! The views were absolutely stunning and it was a good level of challenging while also having plenty of time to chill. Omar was a truly amazing guide, so informative and fun, really made the experience what it was and I would highly recommend him as a guide to everyone!!

We did the Inca Jungle Trail and it was absolutely amazing! Everything was so well organised! Everyday you get three big meals, a very nice accommodation and information about the Inca Trail that you are walking. A lot of people are involved in giving you a great time. You visit some beautiful places and viewpoints. The guides are experienced and well organised. You don’t have to think about anything. You can just enjoy all the activities and the beautiful landscapes. It was definitely the highlights of my big 6 months trip through South America!

Amazing trip through Salkantay and all the way to Machu Picchu. We had amazing company and the best of all was our guide Omar who always took the time and helped everyone along the way.

I couldn’t recommend this hike more! And having a guide as Omar, who always did the little extra stuff, made the experience even more memorable.

An absolutely incredible experience from start to finish, organized by the Machu Picchu Team!

Our guide Max went above and beyond — when there was an issue with my sleeping bag, he immediately provided a replacement, and on the coldest night he even gave me an extra blanket. That kind of personal care made all the difference.

A special mention for Jesus, our cook, whose delicious local food was a real highlight after tough hiking days. Both lunches and dinners were a treat — truly an added value to the whole experience.

As for the trek itself, crossing the Salkantay Pass was breathtaking, and the zipline on day 3 was an absolute blast. Accommodations were exactly as advertised: clean and comfortable, with little shops along the way selling drinks and snacks.

Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure!

My fiancée and I chose a 3 day experience with Picchu TEAM after several hours worth of research and reading reviews. The price was very competitive and worth it. We would choose them all over again without hesitation. The company is very good with communication and addresses any concerns. Our guide, EDGAR CARDENAS, was patient, passionate, and most importantly, very informative! I will definitely request EDGAR as our guide if we decide to return to do a different package. We did the most adventurous experience, which includes biking downhill for 60 km, white water rafting, zip lining, and trekking to Macchu Pichchu. I recommend this package to those looking for a well rounded experience. There are many companies with very similar names, some of which are scammers! I’ll suggest you ensure you go with, Macchu Picchu TEAM.

First of all, I want to thank Frank Omar. He did an amazing job as our tour guide and helped us throughout the entire trip. A huge thanks as well to Jesus for the delicious food.

Even though it was challenging at times, we loved every second of it. 10/10 — I would totally recommend this experience.
