The salkantay trek is the best trek I've done hands down. The scenery is amazing but that's not just what made salkantay special. Our guide Owen who is from the local town, showed us the inca culture and what each mountain means to his people. (He also has great English, and great humor!) Wilsooooon.

We did the 5D/4N Salkantay trek and had the best time ever with Genrri as our guide. He made the whole experience unforgettable and managed to make the harder parts of the trek less scary. The food during the entire trek was also unbelievably good (massive thanks to Braulio the chef for that). Overall, we’d really recommend booking with Machu Picchu Team to anyone looking to do a guided trek to Machu Picchu.

Amazing, incredible, fantastic !!! Genrri was the best guide ever, so lovely and friendly and funny and knowledgeable. He made our experience extra special. The food was also incredible - so varied and delicious for every meal, massive thank you to Braulio the chef for the amazing menus. The views from the accommodations were fantastic, so beautiful and stunning, highly recommend the Salkantay trek to everyone!

I did the Inca jungle trail with Machu Picchu Teams and it was amazing! Very well organized and a lot of nice activities along the way. I can recommend it!

Loved this tour so much. Our guide, Owen was great as well. Super nice guy and really gave us all the full experience. Met lots of great people on the tour, and can’t imagine doing it with any other company/guide. Highly recommend, it’s truly a once in a lifetime experience.

The 5 days salkantay tour with Owen was an amazing experience. I saw the most beautiful scenery I ever saw. Owen made sure that our groupe became a family and we couldn’t have ask for anything more. I recommend!

We did the 4-day Salkantay Trek with Aurelio, a highly knowledgeable and very friendly guide! He kept us motivated the whole time and told us lots of stories about Inca culture.

Exceptional trip. This is one of the best values I have ever had on any trip. Jose the guide was extremely knowledgeable, speaks great English and couldn’t have been any better. It was a very safe experience, the meals were fantastic and Jose did a great job of navigating, keeping us safe and teaching me about the geography of the area, local culture and historic background of the trek and Inca culture.

I hope to do a longer excursion on my next visit and will definitely use machu punchy team again as well as recommend to friends and family.
