Had a tour with Erwin.
The instructions the day before were clear and helpful.
Tour starter in cusco on 01:40, so the first day was long and hard (hehe). Especially when the hike went uphill. Thanks to Erwin we both managed to get there and it was all worth it.
The hike down was fun and the food along the trek was oké/good. Some pancakes ware a bit dry. Would definitely recommend to take a tour with them.

Nous avons vécu une expérience inoubliable sur le trek du Salkantay, et une grande partie de cette réussite est grâce à notre guide !

Il a été exceptionnel du début à la fin : toujours souriant, bienveillant, patient et surtout très attentif à notre rythme et à notre état tout au long du trek. Il a su nous encourager dans les moments les plus difficiles tout en nous laissant profiter pleinement des paysages et de chaque étape.

Nous avons également énormément apprécié toutes ses explications sur la culture péruvienne, l’histoire des Incas, les montagnes et les différents endroits traversés. On sent qu’il connaît parfaitement la région et qu’il aime vraiment partager ses connaissances.

Au-delà de ses qualités de guide, nous avons surtout rencontré une très belle personne avec qui nous avons adoré partager ces quelques jours. Grâce à lui, ce trek restera l’un des plus beaux souvenirs de notre voyage au Pérou. 🇵🇪⛰️

Pase 5 días y 4 noches en el trekking de Salkantay y fue una experiencia increíble. Me tocó un grupo increíble de personas y un increíble guía, Max. Si tienen la oportunidad de que su guía sea él, tómenla, no se arrepentirán. Max se encargó de que fuéramos un grupo de amigos y todo fue muy divertido, nos cuidó y nos guió durante todo el camino. Gracias infinitas a todos los que hacen posible que podamos tener estas experiencias, en mi caso agradezco a Max, al grupo de chefs Milagros, Fernando y Abelardo y a la familia que con sus caballos nos llevaron el campamento de punto a punto. Todo su esfuerzo es reconocido enormemente.

We had an amazing time on the 5D Salkantay Trek with the best tour guide Max! He was very informative, friendly and fun. I would highly recommend tours with him in the future! The accommodation was good, so was the food and we had a brilliant experience overall!

I did the 5D4N Salkantay trek and I had an absolute blast. Edgar was our tour guide and he managed our group of 16 people extremely well. He made sure we stuck to the schedule while also allowing other people to have their autonomy. Edgar is also very knowledgeable about the area and the significance of the mountains to the Quechua people. Not to mention his great sense of humour. 10/10 would hike again.

We did the 4-day Salkantay Trek. Our guide was Aurelio: friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. It was a pleasure spending these days with him.

We had booked the 2-day Inca Trail through the Machu Picchu team in Cusco. Since there were only two of us, as no one else had booked for that day, the experience was doubly intense for us. Our guide Miguel was super! With full interest and absolute patience, he brought us novices to the Sun Gate and gave us an unforgettable day. His information was also valuable, and despite our rather sporadic English skills, we learned a lot about the culture, history, country, and people.
We can only say thank you and wish Miguel all the best.
