We've just returned from the 4n/5d Salkantay trek. Overall, it was a great experience, made by our fantastic guide, Hans. He / MPT even went above and beyond to arrange a private guide for us at Machu Picchu (Carlos) as we had a later ticket than the rest of the group.

The food on the trek was impressive given the remote places we were staying, and catered for veggies, compliments to head chef Jesus!

Whilst we appreciate the time and sacrifice from the luggage carriers, the treatment of the mules made us uncomfortable at times and the amounts carried felt excessive. This is my only main area of improvement needed, otherwise great experience and value for money.

We competed the 4-day Salkantay Trek with Machu Picchu Team and our experience was absolutely outstanding! Tour guides Hans & JP we incredible, they provided lots of information about the trek and the cultures associated with it, as well as doing a brilliant job at keeping the group energy high! We had the excellent chef Jesus whose meals were delicious and filling. Special thank you to all of you, as well as the wonderful horsemen and mules for carting our gear around! The accommodation in beautiful crystal domes was also an amazing experience. 100% would recommend 😊

We had an incredibly good time with a lovely group and an excellent tour guide! Ronn V was so funny, so efficient, so knowledgeable and I will miss him so much. I could not have asked for a better, safer guide

We did the 5 day trek with Juri. He was amazing! So knowledgeable and kept us safe and informed throughout the trek. He looked after us, was an amazing host and was very funny too. 10/10 recommend! 😊

I was on the 5 day Salkantay Trek with Yuri as my guide. It was such a special and memorable experience. The food was incredible and he made our time enjoyable. Unfortunately my friend could not join the trip as he was unwell, but was told he could join on day 3. Yuri checked in with me on day 3 to ask if he was joining, but sadly he wasn't. Due to lack of WiFi, I was unable to keep in contact with my friend, but Yuri kept me updated with my friends plans.
On the days I struggled, Yuri kept with me to make sure I was okay and kept me going. He took care as well over those who were experiencing altitude sickness. Amazing tour

The Machu Picchu team gave us a great experience of the Salkantay Trek. The food from Jesus was some of the best food we have had in Peru. JP leading the way with his amazing tunes and setting the pace and Hans looking after us all. Everyone did and amazing job, thank you very much.

I left for the Salkantay trek solo but never felt alone ! Hans created a real connection between all participants and all 14 of us left very nostalgical of this adventure. Hans was the funniest, Jesus the cook surprised us every lunch and Manuel the cowboy made our trek less difficult for sure !!! MUCHAS GRACIAS MUCHACHOS !

Nemias was our guide and Sandro our driver for the one day Sacred Valley tour. We had a multi-language group and Nemias did a superb job describing each stop in Spanish and English. Sandro was a great driver and his skills showed well when getting us in and out of places.

Dramamine might be a good idea to bring as the day wears on. Well worth the price!

Had an amazing time with Machu Picchu team and our tour guide Omar!! Accomodation and food provided was very good too! Would highly recommend going with these guys :)
