Absolutely amazing experience on the 5D4N Salkantay Trek! From start to finish, everything was so well organized and exceeded my expectations. The scenery was breathtaking every single day, with incredible mountain views, beautiful trails, and an unforgettable journey to Machu Picchu.

Our guide, Amoroso, was outstanding and truly made the trip extra special. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure everyone was having a great time and felt supported throughout the trek. His energy really added so much to the experience.

The whole team worked incredibly hard to make the trip comfortable and enjoyable, and was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had.

Highly recommend to anyone considering it!

Just got back from our 5 day Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu and we had the BEST time, definitely the highlight of my travels- absolutely stunning landscapes and scenery, and of course Machu Picchu was amazing, a true wonder of the world. A huge shout out to our guide Amoroso who was absolutely wonderful. He was always positive and full of energy, and immediately made us all feel at ease and comfortable. Would 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking to book the Salkantay trek.

I cannot recommend Machu Picchu Team enough. Our guides Billy and Franco were so unbelievably helpful, knowledgeable and positive. The food was beyond what I ever would have expected, different for every meal, lots of variety, big portions and delicious! The accommodations were also lovely and everything felt so well organised and stress free. The trek is gorgeous and very manageable if you have a decent level of fitness. This was also one of the cheaper tours available and we thought was fantastic value for money. Our team was also filled will lovely people and we really bonded over 5 days making it truly unforgettable - thank you Machu Picchu Team!

Avoid 1/2 day city tour. Our guide was informative, but rushed us through the tour to bring us shopping at a textile store, and by the time we got to the last tour stop “puka Pukara” it was almost dark and closed.

An extraordinary trek! Breathtaking scenery, great infrastructure for magical nights but above all an incredible team: upstream of the trek, effective answers to all my questions, during the trek, people masters of their art: porters and mule chefs, cooks and...Amoroso!!! The guide we dream of having to live such an adventure. Always in a good mood, full of humor and very considerate, passionate about his job and his country. The icing on the cake as they say! Thank you Machu Picchu Team, thank you Amoroso!!!

Net terug van de vijfdaagse Salkantay trek: wat een fantastische ervaring dankzij Machu Picchu Team! Onze gidsen, Edgar en Victor, waren vriendelijk en begaan vanaf de briefing tot het einde. We konden ons geen betere begeleiding wensen.
De slaapplekken waren goed verzorgd. Het eten was top (Wilfredo verdient zijn eigen restaurant). Deze trek was de ideale opbouw naar ons bezoek aan Machu Picchu. Bedankt aan het volledige team dat onze ervaring zo geweldig heeft gemaakt. 🙏

We hebben de 5-daagse salkantay trek gedaan met Edgar en Victor als gids, ondanks dat ik vanwege omstandigheden niet alle dagen erbij ben geweest, heb ik super leuke dagen gehad. Edgar en Victor hebben alles top geregeld en daardoor kon ik ook weer snel aansluiten bij de groep. Vol passie wisten ze te vertellen over het leven in Peru, de natuur en de geschiedenis. Aanrader !!!
