De 5D4N Salkantay met onze gids Juan was er eentje om nooit te vergeten! We zijn enorm goed verzorgd door de chef en assistenten, onze baggage is veilig overal heen gebracht door de muilezels en de riders en Juan heeft ons met veel plezier en enthousiasme verteld over de trek en de geschiedenis van de Inca’s en Machu Picchu.

Vanaf het eerste moment zijn we goed geïnformeerd en wisten we precies wat ons te wachten stond. 10/10 ervaring, ik kan het iedereen aanraden!

What a memorable experience! A special thank you to Edgar and Victor for being consistently positive, informative and approachable. Thank you to our chef, we were spoiled with the variety of delicious food. Thank you to the man who transported our duffle bags on his horses. Despite the challenge of the trek, the morale was high and our individual needs were met. Strongly recommend The Machu Picchu Team!!

We hebben de Salkantay trek gedaan met gidsen Edgar en Victor. We kregen veel informatie over de natuur en Inca tradities. Geweldig duo samen! Wij hadden nog geen tickets voor Machu Pichu en heel fijn hoe ze met ons mee dachten om alles goed te regelen! Aanrader!

What an experience we've had on our 5 day trek with the Salkantay Trek! Edgar was amazing from the briefing until the final moments! His organisation, logistics, compassion and kindness through each of the 15 members of the group never fell short! I took this trip on a recommendation from a friend who had previously done it - and I can only recommend you go with Machu Picchu Team for a trip that will stay with you a lifetime! The food was fantastic - the tour operators were open and honest and I am externally grateful with all the memories that will stay with me a lifetime! Thank you, EDGAR and VICTOR! You made my travelling experience unforgettable! I am coming back for the Inca Tour! <3

De 5 daagse Salkantay was geweldig! Juan was onze tourguide en heeft ons veel uitgelegd over de cultuur, het land en ons goed begeleid. Hij stond altijd paraat wanneer dit nodig was. Blij dat hij ons deze dagen heeft begeleid

Incredible experience from start to finish. Our guide Alexis (Nacho) and Ellis looked after us so well. Alexis even had a brace for my knee when it gave way on Day 4. From the spectacular views to the amazing food I couldn’t recommend Machu Pichu Teams enough! BOOK IT

I did the 5D/4N Salkantay Trek with this company and I’ve gotta say it was incredible. Everyday was something special, the food was great, the accommodation the same. Big shout out to Marco Antonio (our guide for the full trip). Extremely knowledgeable, funny and kind, an encyclopaedia of knowledge surrounding all aspects of Inca culture and wider Peruvian information and overall a quality guy. Definitely took the trip to another level, also, got to shout out our other guide Franco (our guide for 3N). Equally helpful, funny and a kind soul. If you get either of these guides youll be in safe hands for sure.

My guide was Marco Antonio and he was brilliant. Very knowledgable of all places we were in, always able to answer every question, helped me when I slightly injured my knee, constantly making everyone feel involved and provided great jokes. Franco was also our guide for the first 3 days alongside Marco and he was also brilliant.

The Salkantay trek was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life! We had an amazing group and guide (Alexis/Nacho/Nachito) who was very informative and genuinely wanted everyone to have a great experience. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun. The food, lodging, and activities added so much to a gorgeous trek. I would highly recommend this experience and especially Alexis.
