Roni was our guide on the 4 day Salkantay hike with my whole family. Had an absolute blast and our guide Roni went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during the whole trek. 100% recommend Machu Pichu Team!

Definitely worth the trip! Our tour guide Ronny did such an amazing job over the days we had him. Everything from hikes that will kick your butt to sleeping in sky dome under the stars.

The 5-day Salkantay Trek was an absolute highlight! The landscape – from the snow-covered Salkantay Pass to the deep jungle – is breathtaking, and the organization was first-class.
The best part of the entire tour was definitely our guide Nacho!
He made the five days something truly special. Nacho knows the mountains inside and out, ensures maximum safety, and has incredible knowledge of Inca culture. His energy and humor perfectly motivated the group even during the most challenging stages. Before long, it felt like you were traveling with a good friend.
Conclusion: Anyone doing the trek should definitely choose the 5-day option and specifically ask for Nacho as a guide! Absolute recommendation!

The Salkantay 4D 3N trek was a fantastic experience thanks to our guide, Max and our chef, Wilfredo. Max is deeply passionate about sharing the story of his ancestors and he strategically weaves in interesting stories along the trek. He’s motivating and cares about everyone’s safety and experience. I had a trip of a lifetime thanks to those at Machu Picchu team.

We had the most incredible time on the 4 day salkantay trek with machu picchu team. Max our tour guide was amazing - he gave us so much information about the local culture, customs and traditions, he was so supportive of our group when some were struggling with altitude and never rushed us, and he was super funny too! We were never short of tasty food thanks to our cook Wilfredo and there was always plenty to go round. The avocado salad on the first lunch was a favourite! The trek overall was a once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget, and I would recommend this tour company to anyone who loves fantastic scenery, challenging and rewarding hiking and the chance to see a wonder of the world. Thank you so much Max, you are the best!

Our guides were amazing! Aurelio, Gabriel, and Elisban were fantastic and informative guides who provided information about the trek and Peru! The food was amazing and the chefs did a fantastic job providing enough for everyone.

We had an amazing 3 day Salkantay trek! Elis guided us really wel and learned a lot about the Salkantay and Peruvian traditions.

We did the 3day hike up to Machu Picchu. Thanks to our guide Elisban we had a great time and learned alot about the area and Peru in general.

I did the 4 day option with Max as my tour guide and it was incredible! Benefited from great weather so every day was stunning and picturesque. Couldn’t recommend it enough, it’s the first trek I’ve done and it’s definitely made me want to do more.
