I did thr 4 days hike (salkantay trek). Ot was a great experiance with great people, landscapes and food. Our guide Omar was good at explaining about the plants, landscapes and Inka history!

It was a great trek! Especially thanks to my guide Omar, I was able to trek with peace of mind even though I was not used to climbing overnight. Local stories about Omar's history and plants during the trek were also very interesting.

It can be really hard picking which company to book a tour with. I used this one as it was one of the top ones on google that came up. After just completing the 5 day Salkantay trek with them, I am so glad I picked them! Our guides were max and Franco - not only really friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming, but also really organised. A huge amount of work goes in to get you and your group through safely - with all of the special requests and questions, last minute weather changes and in our case, landslides.. - and Max did a great job in facilitating all of our requests. The food is great, all served family style with your group, and the activities are also great. The Salkantay trek is challenging, but I made some real great friends on my trek and I’m so grateful for my experience. I also think for the price, given its accommodation, food and experienced companies ensuring you get to your final destination in one piece, it is good value. Thanks team!

Great experience on the 5-day Salkantay Trek with our guide Juan Oros. He was very knowledgeable and brought a fun atmosphere to the trek. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience Machu Picchu and the stunning scenery of Peru.

The four day Salkantay trek took us through varied landscape both steep and flat, with scenic views, so beautiful. The cabins were comfortable and had great view too, and water, snacks and toilets were available along the whole trek. And the food was always super delicious! Our guide Omar shared his passion and knowledge about the history, nature and culture along the hike and in machu picchu - thanks to him this hike was wonderful and unique! Thank you for all the good memories:)

Best experience I could ask for to do the 5 day salkantay trek. Definitely ask for Juan, he will keep you entertained with jokes and insight local culture/history!

The 4 day salkantay trek was an amazing experience for my group. It was great to experience the nature and culture of the area. Our guide Omar shared his knowledge about the area, plants and cultures. He took care of our group in the best way! He even played a flute for us and it made the experience even more special☺️

Absolutely amazing trip! You get a great variety of views and landscapes across the 5 day Salkantay trip, as well as tonnes of fun activities to do that are covered by the costs. Couldn't believe how cheap it was! Amoroso was a terrific guide - always helpful and happy to answer questions (I had a lot!).

If you are looking for a great way to explore Peru in a short amount of time, this is definitely the way to do it!

I had a fun and beautiful hike with Machu Picchu Team and with Omar as a guide.
Doing the hike with Omar as a guide was a great experience! He was very competent and was good at motivating us at the hard parts of the hike. He provided us with lots of interesting information along the way and was genuinely enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge. He created a safe and comfortable atmosphere, where everyone felt seen and heard, and we had some really good chats.
