The trip was one of the best experiences of my life we did the 3 night / 4 day Salkantay trek! We were guided by Stik and honestly if we didn’t have Stik I don’t think the experience would have been the same, the best time with the best guide, we didn’t speak any Spanish but Stik spoke very good English and it was very easy to understand. Thank you Stik❤️❤️

I did the salkantay track with a group of 14 and our tourguide Hans. It was sometimes challenging, as I am not a experienced hiker, but I managed especially because of the amazing persons I met and Hans that motivated us with his jokes and knowledge along the way! But you should not underestimate him because he can go reaally fast😂 just as our horseman Manuel who made sure our bags were everywhere that we were. Also compliments to Manuel our chef he made some amazing Peruvian dishes!!

My family of 5 including a 12 year old did they 4 day Inca Jungle Tour with David as our guide. We experienced a lot… the beauty of the Andes mountains, the biodiversity of the high Amazon jungle, the high altitude including the weather changes that come with it, the majesty of Machu Picchu, and power of the Urubamba river. We enjoyed biking down the mountains (even in the rain), rafting the raging river, hiking up and down the mountains, zip lining across the river, recovering in the hot springs. The food provided was good and substantial. The hostal stays were ok, nothing fancy (a lower standard of living than the US, which was to be expected).

Our guide David was great. He was very knowledgeable and made sure we always knew the schedule, how much time to the next stop and what to expect. We were never rushed… plenty of time for everything. He paced us well and you could really tell he knew the area like the back of his hand.

Be prepared for the hiking. We did at least 10 hours, some pretty steep up and down the second day, then very flat the third day. Our 12 year was able to do it all with some encouragement on the third day.

We stayed in Cusco for 2 days prior to acclimate to the altitude. Half my family did experience some elevation sickness. The coca leave tea and candies do help.

We did buy a lot of water bottles which you can purchases all long the trek. And bug spray is a must. And bring a rain poncho… you never know even in the dry season.

The part we did not enjoy much was the roads and driving. Very poor road conditions lead to some bumpy, swerving, uncomfortable rides.

But overall a very memorable trip (not vacation). Epic views, awesome experiences, amazing environment and good people.

I did the 4 day Salkantay trekking with guides Aurelio & Jean-Pierre. At the start I had a lot of stress as I’m not used to doing trekkings and certainly not at this height, but Aurelio believed in me so I started believing in myself. Even though other people in the group were a lot faster than me, I was able to complete the full days at my own pace. It was also the birthday of a friend during the trip and Aurelio was so thoughtful that we had a little party during one of our « breaks » during day 3. So grateful for this experience.

Very challenging experience but very rewarding as well! Our guide Steven was amazing and very patient with us and made the whole experience wonderful.

It was a very good experience !! The guide Genrri was the best ! The only issue is the additionnal fee you have to add and that are not mentioned: tips for the cooks, for the bags holders… it should be included on the initial price rather than added. Same for the hot shower, the wifi or to cross a bridge on day 4??

I did the Salkantay trek with guide Stiven in August 2026. As hard as it was, he always made sure to go at your pace and check on you. Very appreciated!! He would also share so much information about the nature and history, super interesting! The views were incredible and the accommodations too (prepare for the cold at night). Would recommend!

We had a good time at Salkantay. Despite the bad weather and severe cold, we enjoyed it. The guide Omar was extremely friendly, helpful, and involved. He gave us a legendary experience. Inca knowledge was very great and the passion was clearly visible. Thank you very much!

Had the most amazing experience doing the Salkantay Trek with my friend. This was mainly due to the amazing people we met on the tour, but also due to our amazing tour guides Max and Anderson. Max really made the experience special, and always made sure the group stuck together. I will carry the memory of the trip with me forever!
We did the 5 days 4 nights tour, and would really recommend this instead of the 4 days 3 nights tour. Our group was 11 people and was just the right size. To have a smaller group really makes a difference when it comes to creating a good environment and atmosphere in the group. The price for the tour was also really reasonable, and there weren’t much ‘hidden’ fees, as there usually can be when it’s at such a good price.
