We, Dutch couple, mid-twenties, did the 5 day Salkantay. One word: wow. Great trip, fun group, even better guide. Owen is a legend. Please book with this guy, you will not regret it. You will be amazed by everything you do and see and he just makes an absolute unforgettable experience out of it.

We did the 4 day Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu with Machu Picchu Team and I couldn't recommend them more!

Our guide, Carlos, was the best we could have asked for. He made sure the group was always looked after and kept spirits high throughout, whilst also giving us lots of information about our surroundings and the history of places we visited. He made our trip!! Nestor was amazing too, he taught us lots about all the different foliage we passed on the trek and kept the energy high.

The accommodation was simple but comfortable and our bellies were kept full morning, noon and night with tasty fresh Peruvian food.

If you are looking to do the Salkantay trek, you will be well looked after with Machu Picchu Team!

I was on the 4 day salkantay trek, and had the best time! Everything worked out perfectly and the communication with the matchu pitcchu team was great. Our guide Carlos did an awesome job guiding us, and was such a fun guide with lots of knowledge. 5 out of 5 stars, couldn’t be happier.

I was on the salkantay trip with 4 more people and our guide Billy, was really very horny, hike and views really cool, the food: Breakfast, lunch, evening was always very cool. In the end, to machu picchu. Billy was a great guide, the cooks and horsemen who accompanied us as well.

Fantastic tour company! Two of our party were ill and so missed the first few days, and the team went out of their way to get them on a new bus and meet them at the station so they could join us for Machu Pichu! We did the 3 day Jungle tour and it was great value for money. Everyone we met along the way went out of their way to be friendly and take care of us, from the people making breakfast to the rafting instructors, and of course the brilliant tour guides (Jimmi and Jhon were so great we were sad to see them go). Such a good experience.

I recommend Machu Picchu Team!! A superb 5-day trek of Salkantay! Everything is very well organized, logistics, meals, accommodation, transport. It's really great to be guided! Especially by our guide Owen who was a super passionate guide with a lot of kindness and kindness! Thank you!

Our five day trip had everything. Rain, clouds, sun, mud and a lot of positive energy. Because of the landslides we had to walk a bit more sometimes. Thanks to our guide Owen (the best guide you can have) we had an amazing experience and had nothing to worry about. Owen provided a good humorous atmosphere in the group. This resulted in a lot of fun every day. At the last day Pacha Mama was with us, we had the first shift to visit Machu Picchu and got a clear view on this magical place. Why not is the question and that is the spirit. Thank you so much Owen!!
