As someone who struggled a lot during this trek, I felt very lucky to be in the hands of this team. Specifically my guide Alexis(Nachito) He made the whole group connect and give us the energy to keep going, as well as options if we were struggling. Wouldn’t pick any other company. If you are planning on doing a Salkantay trek or any other use this company.

The tour itself was a great experience, and our guide Amoroso did a fantastic job guiding and supporting us through the five day trek.
The food was great and felt very nourishing.
However, the return trip by car/bus is not well organized at all. We waited at a restaurant for hours and were told we had to wait to be led to the car. By the time we were brought to a parking lot, not were the bus left, it was too late and we missed the first bus despite having asked multiple times if we could leave earlier.
Despite this it was a great trip and would recommend, just be cautious about the trip back to Cusco.

Amoroso was exceptional on the trip. All the accommodations were fitted and ready to go with no issues. Dinners were great every night. Very knowledgeable out the terrain and overall just an excellent guide. I would recommend him to anyone.

We did the 4 days salkantay trek with Marco and Erwin it was a really nice experience.

Our guide Amoroso was amazing! He was personal and sweet. No complaints about the route as well. I really enjoyed the views and stays. Food was 10/10!
However the last day (machu picchu day) you were kind of on your own. It was fine but the bustrip was Not well organised. We were told to wait multiple times, eventually it made us miss our bus because we had to walk another 20 minutes what was never told. Also the bus driver drove like he had no passengers in his bus.. Overall I would recommend to book your tour here!

Fantastic experience over the 5 day hike. As a solo traveller I met a great group of fun people, and we bonded really well throughout the experience. Our guide ,Amoroso, was funny, helpful and very informative. He definitely enhanced the whole experience and was a lovely man.

Unfortunately the organisation of the bus back on the final day was poor, we waited for a few hours in a restaurant to be led to the bus, only to miss the earliest- although we had asked to leave earlier. That however had not much to do with Machu Picchu team

We did the 4-day / 3-night trek, and it was really great.

The organization was well managed and the landscapes are incredible. It was also a wonderful cultural exchange, which allowed us to learn a lot about local customs and traditions.

Erwin, Marco, and all the staff were wonderful. We spent the end of the trip with Erwin, who is passionate about his job. He shared everything he knew with us, was very attentive, and kept a great atmosphere going throughout the group.

Incredible experience with Machu Picchu Team; I went with my boyfriend and we loved our experience. The physical part is far from easy, but I promise you that the landscapes, the food, and the accommodations (especially the 3rd one, I would have stayed there for 1 week without a problem because it was so beautiful) make you forget how difficult the hike can be. We had Nacho as a guide, I highly recommend him to you; he taught us so many interesting things about the Incas, the plants, the Peruvian culture, etc. I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Fantastic day trip with Machu Pichu Team to Palccoyo mountain. Organisation was excellent and tour guide Erwin was energetic and helped explain the history and culture behind the areas we visited. Food included was also fantastic. Would highly recommend Erwin for both English and Spanish speakers.

We did the 5D4N Salkantay Trek with Max from Machu Piccu Team. We had the most incredible experience. He was extremely knowledgable and kind. He always went the extra mile to help us out. From the start of the trip to the very end he made it so enjoyable and had a great laugh with us all. Our meals cooked by chef Cedro were outstanding. The accommodation was always spotless and we had star domes for 2 separate nights which provided a fantastic view for star gazing. I would highly recommend doing this trip with Machu Piccu Team. I wouldn’t change a thing!
