The Best trek I have done, 4 days was perfect

The Salkantay trek was one of the higlights of my 3 months in Latin America. Nacho (Alexis) took really good care of us and he made sure that we enjoyed every moment of our hike. The hike is not easy for sure, but with a great guide and group anything is possible. The food was amazing, we had several options for each meal. The acommodations were also really cool, imy favourite was the first one with the glass ceilings and the views of the mountains, i have never seen such a bright sky before. I will be forever grateful for the experience! Thank you!!!!

The tour is beautiful; every step has its reward, surrounded by beautiful nature and culture.
Omar took it upon himself to encourage us at every step, to give us confidence, and to look after us. It is worth highlighting his knowledge of the place, the culture, and the history. Demonstrating a lot of love when conveying it, which is truly contagious. I hope many more feel nature, culture, and history like he does. Enjoy sharing.

Very beautiful adventure with the Matchu Pichu team! Thanks to our guide Owen who explained the operations, history, and other tips to facilitate the trip to us the whole way. The whole process and the steps were easy. The food was abundant and excellent.

Myself and my best friend Alice went in the four day Inca Jungle trek. It was great experience. Even after experiencing a minor injury, our guide Aurelio could not have been more caring and helpful. We became great friends with our guide and had great fun the whole way though. You get to mix with other groups in the hostels and some of the accommodation places are really cool like staying in outdoor domes for a night. I would highly recommend going with Machu Picchu team, and try get Aurelio if you can!

Incredible experience in the high Andean mountains. Quality team that knows the business. Everything is planned so that the experience goes wonderfully. We slept in incredible places and had great meals, fresh and local. And our guide Alexis, called "Nacho," is a great guy who knows the mountain and Inca culture like the back of his hand. He knows how to create a truly united group, and above all he is kind and creates a good atmosphere with his good humor, always positive!

My experience trekking with Machu Picchu teams was one of my highlights of my three months of travel. Edgar was the most wonderful guide. He was so knowledgable and encouraging and we all enjoyed every minute of the time together. Thank you so much. I could not recommend Machu Picchu teams more. Also the food was absolutely amazing. So filling and so tasty.

A great experience with great people. We did the 3 day hike which was challenging but incredibly rewarding. The whole trip went smoothly and Erwin our guide was great. Erwin was fun, friendly and very informative leading to a great experience. My only negative was that when booking it was stated on the website that water refills would be provided after this first morning however this was not the case at any point (although this has since been corrected on the website) so was left without any but Erwin went back to the shop to pick some up for us which was greatly appreciated. Overall a great trip and remember to stock up at the shops passed on the way!

My experience with this company was truly wonderful. Our tour guide Alexis (Nacho) was more than just a guide - he was a friend and shoulder to lean on. Not only was his knowledge about history and indigenous tradition extremely informed and engaging, he was hilarious — constantly keeping the spirits of the group high. He connected with all of us on an individual level to deliver a truly supportive experience throughout the trek. As a result, despite the varying ability of the group, we each had a magical time. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour company and commend Alexis for his wonderful service.
