We did the Inca Jungle Tour to Machu Picchu with the Machu Picchu Reservations team, and it was an amazing experience!

Everything was super well organized, so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Our guide was awesome and made the whole trip even more special. The activities, the scenery, and the overall experience were unforgettable.

On top of that, the price was really fair for everything that was included. We’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Peru.

The Salkantay trek was absolutely amazing, it was tough but worth it. The views are insane, the food is delicious and the vibe is hilarious. I booked with Machu Picchu Team and it was the group I hiked with and my guide, Nachito, who absolutely made my trip! I found elements of the trek difficult and Nachito was such a supportive and encouraging presence, he really brought the group together and I could not be more grateful. We did the Inca Jungle Trail and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. From exciting activities to breathtaking hiking trails, the tour had everything we were looking for. The food was delicious and gave us the opportunity to try typical Peruvian dishes.

Thank you Juan and the Machu Picchu team for an amazing experience. It has really been the best thing I’ve done, and Juan brought such good energy, kindness and an unbelievable knowledge of the history of the region.

We took the two days trekking to Humantay Lake and Salakantay Pass in July. Our guide was Erwin and he made the trip very special! We stayed at a camp with iglos which was really cool, but also cold, so we highly recommend to pack or wear proper clothes.
The trekking was beautiful but also quite difficult due to the altitude so be prepared. Our guide was our biggest cheerleader and made us reach the top. Both the lake and the mountain at the top was really worth it. Erwin was really competent as a guide and had lots of interesting information to share. Thank you Erwin, we highly recommend this adventure!

We had a great experience with Max during our 4 days Salkantay Trek.
Both accommodation and food were really nice. Max was professional and had a great knowledge about the region and its history.
We also did the zipline, which was great.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time and would definetly recommend it.
The organisation at the office in Cusco was good, we got all necessary information in advance.

It was a great experience, with a very good itinerary, well-prepared logistics, and a complete and well-trained team of workers. The sites visited before Machu Picchu are also highly recommended. Although they inform you properly, I would recommend reading the information about the trek before doing it.

This was an amazing experience. We were a small group but the pace was quite fast. Food and accommodation was great.

I loved every moment of it (almost): our guide Carlos Marx (Max) was super knowledgable, well orginised, caring, but most of it he was very passionate about his country, his people, the history, connection with the Mother Nature, and he shared this passion with us generously. We all learnt a lot about Peru and its people from Max. The trek itself was fantastic! Surrounded by stunningly beatuful nature and pleasantly difficult, but with options to do it easy for those affected by the altitude (i e. horse riding). The accommodation was great, see through igloos so you can watch the shooting stars from your bed! The food was delucious. Our chef Jesus tried very hard to provide us with nutritious, tasty and beautifully presented dishes, and plenty of it! Peruvians are quite generous with food portions. The eggs are always free range, potatos are super tasty, all ingredients were really good. The only one thing I would change: on day 3 we were placed in the bus to go down to the zip line place. We felt we were denied the amaizing hike down hill along the gorge, river and the mountain cliff. The ride felt dengerous on the narrow road close to a deep drop. Not pleasant at all. We would rather hiked it. And not many wanted to do the zip line anyway. So it felt a bit like cheating. Nevertherless, this was an incredible experience and I would strongly recommend this company to any fit person with curios mind and not too deep pocket. By the way, we have booked with the Inka Trail Backpackers company, but they are affiliated with Machu Picchu Team. Both great. And we got great t-shirts in the end😃.
